We like to think of it as a wolf in sheep's clothing. The HM-2d is a large diaphragm condenser mic but is voiced to sound like a classic large diaphragm dynamic mic. It captures all the fat crunch of guitar amps, horns, drum kits, old-school vocals and more but costs less than many quality stage and broadcast mics.
